Time to Play Ketchup

Well, it has been quite awhile since I've posted. Funny how time passes when you're raising a kid! Braeden will be 16 months a week from tomorrow. Before we know it he'll be a year and a half and then two years and so on and so on. He has become quite the little character! He has the funniest little personality. He has a mix of his dad's "laidbackness", my temper and both of our sense of humors. He is just amazing!

On my birth board we listed things that made our babies unique to us the other day. Here was my list:

Braeden is always excited to see me---in the morning he's standing up in his crib even if he's upset, it makes him happy to see me and he latches on! When I get to daycare he comes running toward me with his arms outstretched and give me a big hug. I love it!

He knows how to make me laugh and does whatever he can to do it. We can just do silly things and laugh at each other.

If I lay in the floor and say "come get mommy" he'll come attack me.

He runs and hides from me

His job is to close doors and the dryer. He's very good at it.

He's stubborn like his mama.

I love that he will clap for himself when he does something...anything. lol

He blows kisses when we're leaving home because he's gotten used to blowing kisses to PEOPLE when we leave. He just associates kisses with leaving. Cute!

Of course there are more things, but those were the ones that came to mind that day. Each day is full of surprises and new developments. He's currently learning to crawl on all the furniture. Nothing is safe! I know part of it is natural, but I also think that with me being a tomboy as a kid and his dad being a daredevil we're going to be in for trouble!
